Maera, made in the image of a Classical Chimera, is as vicious, merciless, and destructive as his name sake. Created by a group of fanatics that had decided that all Kaiju are dangerous beasts and should be destroyed, he is both a success and a failure, being that he attacks any Kaiju he finds on site, but fails to kill them due to the fact that he’s as stupid as he is vicious. His sadistic enjoyment of eating people as slowly as he can, or dripping his venom on them makes the fanatics look very stupid as well.

One of the only two Kaiju that were ever classed as Evil, saying Maera is dangerous is an understatement. The only things he takes enjoyment from are killing and destruction. Even if there isn’t another monster to fight, he will often rampage through a city, eating and killing and laughing, his acidic venom drooling from his mouth and melting whatever it touches. He is insanely strong, barely flinching at military intervention and shrugging off pain from Kaiju attacks. If he wasn’t so stupid and easily tricked into traps, he probably would have fulfilled his original purpose, and gone on to destroy the world of humans.

He has no Kaiju allies, and there are no humans that would help him now, since he ate the cult that created him as soon as he was awakened. He hates everything, but he loathes Mishipishew with every fiber of his being. Mizzy isn’t as strong, but is smarter, and enjoys showing Maera who the top cat is, using his wits to defeat and humiliate the stronger monster in every encounter they have ever had. Valdesaurus is high on his list of things he hates as well, due to his annoying colors and the dumb luck that lets him win over the chimera beast.



Yay, this bastard is done, finally. I got snagged by what his abilities should be. The real, mythical Chimera (spelled Chimaera in some places, which is where I got the name) breathes fire, right? But, Garm already does that.

So, Maera got burning acid venom.

And his mouth is supposed to be white, I didn't forget to color it.

Bio will be upcoming. I want to get the rest of them done first.
