...anything that makes this bird look less than a Muppet reject is alright by me. The first time I ever watched this movie it really held my attention because for an American monster movie from the 50s they were doing a pretty good job I thought.....UNTIL.......they finally showed the entire creature and the illusion just went up in laughter. So this was one of the few times that I didn't mind them doing the usual thing in American kaiju films and just killed the poor thing and put it out of our misery. Hollywood has never caught on that Deikaiju are also supposed to be chacters in the story and tell a saga - their not supposed to be some disposable McGuffin Device.

It did look pretty damn silly in the movie. It could have been an ok movie if the monster didn't fail so hard that everyone laughed.
